Conventional wisdom suggests you can't have it all—efficiency, fairness, and transparency—when designing team incentives. This paper shows that such contracts are not only possible, but can also be simple.

Should a monopolist launch a new product in different versions when public information builds up through observational learning? Yes they should, but only when consumers have sufficiently precise private information.

Why do public health crises sometimes trigger a sharp divide in behavior, while in other cases, responses appear less divided? Instead of explaining these patterns through misinformation or partisanship, we show they need not be.
